The heart-melting love story

0

The yellow flowers in complete blossom till the eye could have a look…daffodils maybe. They remember the photo sessions each time at this time of the year-springtime excitement this appeared!! Never imagined the Woodland Hills Plumbers could have such a troublesome time with the piping method to offer just the appropriate dose of dampness to the mud. She was just a blimp on the camera monitor before she zoomed into full focus a few moments later. He had no problem counting his pulse at over a hundred. Never a scratchy instance when she hovered about …straight over the railing onto the green lawns tumbling round each other damp with bright grass dew. it never appeared to be like that always. So there, he came across her when they were auditioning for the fresh face of the year. Hanging out at the pizza corner every evening was about the most amazing event of his twenty-three years on this planet. Except of course the oddball he swirled past the Woodland Hills Roofers (Need one? click here!) goalpost for the celebrated shot at last year’s Softball tourneys. Nights would stretch into the mornings sans the dream ever reaching the point where he would go on to propose to the dreamy girl. Sounds eerie now that he thinks back of all those empty evenings, waiting for the sweet smell of daffodils moving past his nose. Give him this face and he shall make a thousand flowers blossom in the desert. That’s what he told the panel at those screening tests. She won the competition without much debate and doubt. That season they had a blast every time a fresh proposal for the client was discussed. They didn’t have an option. They chose her face all the time. Flash bulbs trained on her would start looking lack-lustre the moment she beamed her thousand-watt smile. The Woodland Hills Electricians rushed to fix the fuse every time the shutter clicked her beaming eyes. And he was all blushing in the face when her look would cut straight through his heart. Cupid could not have done a better job at towing away his heart, floored that he was with the zoom lens, always zoomed in.
