How to propagate mandevilla

Mandevilla installations can be easily propagated cuttings to do new installations.  The best time to make cuts is in spring, but they can also be taken in summer/autumn.   Take 2-3 “tip or side stakes shot that have new growth that is starting the company (not new light green growth) remove all but the 2 best sheets.  Plunge cuts in rooting hormone and put into the mix of peat sandy soil.  Keep moist and humid cuts with low heat 68-77F (20-25 C).To keep the moisture, put them in a plastic bag (opening periodically to release the excess moisture). keep cuts in the shaded area, out of direct sunlight.
