0

One of the greatest joys in life is to spend time with your family in the great oudoors. Make sure that you are properly equipped when you go camping though. Read on to fin out what to bring when you go camping.

A tent is the number one camping equipment you need to bring unless you will be using an RV or trailer. Check that all of your campers can fit inside the tent. You can also opt to buy two or three tents if your kids want to have their own tents. Lay down a tarp on the ground and a thick cloth to protect you from the cold ground.

Make sure to have lanterns and flashlights ready. Both of these require batteries so carry a lot of extra batteries except if you will be using a traditional, old lantern that needs matches. Also, make sure to have plenty of lantern fuel and a funnel so you have anything to fill in when it runs out.

Bring fire starters as well as fire extinguisher when camping. It is crucial that you have these two for your campfire. Check that your matches are of the waterproof kind so that it will not be rendered useless when it accidentally gets wet. Make provisions as well to provide for the logs of wood needed for fire making.

It is crucial that you do not forget water and food then check your clothes and beddings. Make sure you have lots of these essentials before you head out camping. In first aid kit, include important tools like band-aids, pairs of scissors, CPR mouth barrier device and sterilized gauze. Your food and water should have sealed containers so that ants and other animals won’t get to them.
