The variety of florist cyclamen (c. persicum) was ‘ plant ‘ during the Christmas holiday in the Victorian era. Today he is making a comeback in popularity. Cyclamen the name comes from the Greek word circle referring to round Corm which it grows. Was also called Poor mans violet Orchid, Alpine and Persian violet.

Cyclamen plants care
Florist cyclamen is a houseplant blooming season cool that with proper care can last on average 2-3 months or more. Re-Blooming a Cyclamen isn’t easy, but it can be done. Some only discards the plant when it is done blooming while others will take up the challenge. When the installation is complete, blooming, gradually reduce watering.  Once the leaves turn yellow, stop watering all together. This will convince the cyclamen to an inactive period you need to rebloom next year. Store onions in your pot or take them out of the pot put in paper bag and store in a cool (50F), dry, dark place. In may or June relationship onions 1/2 above the soil line in soil cool place in bright room cool and begin to water and fertilize regularly. When new growth appears, move the plant to a dark spot in summer. Since the climate cooler sets (autumn) bring back inside to enjoy the flowers.
